Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation is a non-profit, member-owned electric cooperative. It was created and exists today to distribute electricity to the people in portions of fourteen Georgia counties; provide all members with comfort, convenience and security at the most efficient level possible; promote and facilitate economic development of the area; and enhance the general quality of life for its members and the communities it serves.
Central Georgia EMC serves customers in counties which include Bibb, Butts, Clayton, Fayette, Henry, Jasper, Jones, Lamar, Monroe, Morgan, Newton, Pike, Putnam and Spalding.
