Payment Information

Payments may be made in the office in Jackson during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or in the payment drop after 5:00 p.m. or on the weekends.

Other collection points are:

• United Bank in Griffin, Barnesville, Milner, Madison, Thomaston, Zebulon & Williamson
• Monroe County Bank in Forsyth
• Bank of Monticello in Monticello
• First State Bank in Locust Grove

The banks cannot accept past due payments.

An account will be past due if not paid within fifteen (15) days after the date of the bill. A cut-off date is shown on the next month's bill. A payment for the past due amount must be received in our office before the cut-off date. If you are disconnected for non-payment, a service charge, the past due bill and a deposit equivalent to three (3) months usage may be required. These must be paid before service is reconnected.

An account becomes delinquent if any check is returned to the office by your bank. You will receive a letter giving a final date for payment of the check plus a $20.00 handling charge. If payment is not received by the due date, service is disconnected without notice.

If a service needs to be disconnected, notify the office of the date you wish.
