There are times when a homeowner may want or need to have other trees trimmed or removed which are not included in the regular maintenance guidelines of CGEMC.

Central Georgia EMC now offers, through Centec,Inc., additional tree services such as tree removal, topping, trimming, and brush removal. If you have a need for personalized tree work, contact our call center. A representative will be glad to assist you. Upon receiving a request, our Right-of-Way Department will contact you and set up a convenient time to discuss the work. Upon mutual agreement, a contract will be executed and the work completed in a reasonable time.

A CGEMC contractor with years of experience cutting trees to avoid damage to property and other utilities will perform the work. All work will be fully insured with satisfaction guaranteed.

While Central Georgia EMC is excited to make this service available to the public, we want our customers to know that we continue to do the same maintenance we have always done, within company and department guidelines. The CGEMC Right-of-Way Department works very hard to maintain clearance around power lines so that, in the event of bad weather, outages due to falling limbs and trees will be minimized.
