Customer Satisfaction is Our Goal
In the 1st quarter of 2018, CGEMC received an American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) score of 85 out of 100.Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation uses the ACSI to measure our effectiveness in serving customer-owners. The ACSI is a nationally recognized measurement tool that takes feedback from customers and uses that data to develop a Customer Satisfaction (ACSI) score, which is calculated based on three attributes: overall satisfaction, confirmation of expectations, and comparison to an ideal utility company. The score is compared to similar organizations across the nation to gauge performance.
We are pleased that our customer-owners rated us so favorably in the latest survey that includes the ACSI questions. , where Central Georgia EMC is rated higher than the national average among investor-owned utilities (75 73), Touchstone Energy Cooperatives (77), and other cooperatives (76) based on the ACSI 2018 Utility Report. We strive for continuous improvement in all that we do, and our goal is to move our score even higher.
