With the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disrupting much of our daily lives, Central Georgia EMC wants to assure the communities we serve that we are continuing our operations throughout the duration of this public health crisis. As stewards of critical infrastructure, we have a detailed plan to ensure the services you rely on are provided at the highest level during these troubling times.

God's Kingdom Builders Church of Jesus Christ Receives $5,000 Grant

God’s Kingdom Builders Church of Jesus Christ received a grant for $5,000 from the Central Georgia EMC Foundation to help repair and remodel their shelter for the homeless. 

“We would like to thank the participants of the Operation Round Up program for this generous grant,” said CFO Doleta Crosby. “The funds will allow us to continue to give a hand up to those in need in our community.”

Crosswalk Ministries USA, Inc. Receives $3,000 Grant

Crosswalk Ministries USA, Inc. received a grant for $3,000 from the Central Georgia EMC Foundation to support their ARTreach program.

ARTreach is an arts-based, after-school program for high-risk youth. The program is designed to foster critical thinking, communication and conflict resolution skills, appropriate self-expression, and positive life choices. To date, the program has served 450 Henry County youth.
