When you apply for electric service and pay the one-time $5 membership fee, you become a member of Central Georgia EMC. As a cooperative, we’re committed to delivering reliable power and excellent customer service to every member.
Fast Service Connections
For existing locations, electric service is typically connected the next business day (excluding weekends and holidays). If you’re building a new home or business that has never had electricity, we recommend applying early. This gives our engineering and operations teams time to prepare and helps avoid delays.
How to Apply for Service
You can apply for electric service in the way that works best for you:
- Online: Apply now through our secure portal.
- In Person: Visit our Jackson office at 923 South Mulberry Street, Jackson, GA.
- Fax: Send your completed and signed application to 770-504-7877.
- Email: Email a scanned, signed copy to csr@cgemc.com.
We accept all major credit cards for application fees and monthly bills. To pay by phone, call 770-775-7857.
