Flint River Council Boy Scouts received a grant for $1,500 from the Central Georgia EMC Foundation to purchase tools and materials for woodworking.
During the summer, the Scouts host a five-week camp that offers many handicraft skill-building activities, including woodworking. The tools and materials purchased will help the Scouts to earn their Woodworking Merit Badges.
