Neighbors Helping Neighbors – Together We Make A Difference

For Georgia’s most needy, winter can be challenging to find adequate shelter, clothing, food, and even assistance with energy bills.


Central Georgia EMC proudly participates in the Salvation Army’s Project SHARE.

Project SHARE is a program established by the Salvation Army in cooperation with the electric utilities of Georgia. This program gives emergency assistance to Georgians, who need funds for the necessities: food, shelter, medical care and utility bills.

Project Share is a year-round program. Funds will be used to help the needy in the county in which the contributions are given.

Project SHARE is administered through the Salvation Army’s designated agencies. Those seeking assistance through this program should contact their county’s Department of Family and Children Services.

If, at any time, you would like to cancel your SHARE pledge, do so by just calling CGEMC.
