How to Report an Outage

  1. First, go to your main electrical panel to see if a breaker has tripped.
     
  2. If the problem is not in your home’s wiring, report your outage by contacting our 24-hour Outage System at 770-775-7857 or report your outage on the Central Georgia EMC Mobile App, online by logging into your account or text OUTAGE to 352667 from the mobile phone number listed on your account.
     
  3. When you call to report the outage, you can hear an outage report to see if one has already been reported in your area. Our automated response system will return calls to members to confirm that their power has been restored.
     
  4. Please keep your telephone number updated with Central Georgia EMC. Your telephone number acts as a guide so we can quickly locate your address.
